Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to work out a dose safely, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or high contrast. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

• Every calculator field has a label, and the answer is announced to screen readers when it changes.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and controls meet AA colour contrast in light and dark mode.
• The syringe drawing has a text description, and animation stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
• We test each release with automated WCAG checks and by hand with a keyboard.
