Privacy and ad choices

The short version

There are no accounts, and nothing you type into the calculator is sent to us: the maths runs in your browser. We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads, which is how the site stays free. You can switch off ad personalisation and analytics below, and we honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal automatically.

What stays on your device

Calculations you choose to save, your theme choice and your privacy choice are kept in your browser’s local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them. We can’t see them.

Google Analytics

Records which pages are visited, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and a few anonymous events such as “a calculation was made”. We deliberately don’t send which peptide you chose or any dose. Google keeps this data according to the retention setting on our account.

Advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of many other vendors’ personalised ads at aboutads.info. You may still see ads; they just won’t be based on your activity.

In the EU, UK and Switzerland

Analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you agree to them in the consent message Google shows in these regions. You can change your answer at any time from the same message.

Your privacy choices

Wherever you live, including US states with privacy laws such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others, you can opt out of analytics and of personalised advertising (which may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information under those laws). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as that opt-out automatically.

Children

This site is for adults and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Affiliate links

Some links, such as to Amazon, are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, the retailer knows you came from here and may pay us a commission. We don’t receive your details from them.
