How many units is 100 mcg of Ipamorelin?
With a 2 mg vial mixed with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water, 100 mcg is 5 units (0.05 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe. A different vial size or amount of water changes this, so check it with your own numbers.
How much water do I add to a 2 mg Ipamorelin vial?
1 mL of bacteriostatic water is common, which makes 2,000 mcg per mL. More water makes each dose a bigger amount that is easier to measure; it doesn't change how much is in the vial.
How long does mixed Ipamorelin last?
Once mixed, keep it at fridge temperature, 2–8°C and use it within 28 days. Unmixed powder: freezer −20°c.
What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin is a lab-made peptide of five amino acids that triggers growth hormone release through the ghrelin receptor. It isn’t approved, and it’s banned in tested sport.
Why it’s popular
Early studies found it raised growth hormone with little effect on cortisol or prolactin, unlike older peptides such as GHRP-6. Those were small, short studies; long-term human data doesn’t exist.
Units
Vials are labelled in milligrams and doses are quoted in micrograms. It’s often paired with CJC-1295, sometimes as a pre-mixed blend; blend doses are counted per peptide.
