What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide (5 amino acids) that acts as a selective growth hormone secretagogue (GHS). It stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone in a pulsatile manner. What makes Ipamorelin unique among GH peptides is its selectivity β it stimulates GH release without significantly affecting cortisol, prolactin, or aldosterone levels, giving it the cleanest side-effect profile in its class.
How Ipamorelin Differs from Other GH Peptides
Unlike GHRP-6 (which increases hunger significantly) or GHRP-2 (which can raise cortisol), Ipamorelin produces a GH pulse with minimal secondary hormonal effects. This selectivity makes it popular as a standalone peptide or, more commonly, paired with CJC-1295 (no DAC) for amplified and sustained GH release.
Reconstitution
- 2 mg vial β 1 mL BAC water (2,000 mcg/mL)
- 5 mg vial β 2 mL BAC water (2,500 mcg/mL)
- 10 mg vial β 3 mL BAC water (3,333 mcg/mL)
Dosing Protocols
100β300 mcg per injection, 1β3 times daily. Best administered on an empty stomach. The most popular single-dose timing is before bed, capitalizing on the natural nocturnal GH pulse. For three-dose protocols: upon waking, post-workout, and before bed.
