How many units is 100 mcg of Sermorelin?
With a 3 mg vial mixed with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water, 100 mcg is 3.3 units (0.033 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe. A different vial size or amount of water changes this, so check it with your own numbers.
How much water do I add to a 3 mg Sermorelin vial?
1 mL of bacteriostatic water is common, which makes 3,000 mcg per mL. More water makes each dose a bigger amount that is easier to measure; it doesn't change how much is in the vial.
How long does mixed Sermorelin last?
Once mixed, keep it at fridge temperature, 2–8°C and use it within 28 days. Unmixed powder: freezer −20°c.
What is Sermorelin?
Sermorelin is a lab-made copy of the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It was approved as Geref for children’s growth hormone problems, but the branded product was discontinued in 2008. What’s sold now is compounded or unregulated.
What the research shows
It raises growth hormone for a short time; it lasts minutes in the body. Its use for ‘anti-ageing’ isn’t supported by good trials. It’s banned in tested sport.
